GAME DESIGNER
PLATFORM: Unity- PC
A collection of simple prototypes exploring various axes of gameplay.

RocketCrash - An interactable physics toy version of Asteroids where the player can crash into and destroy asteroids if they are moving fast enough.

Cranetastrophe- A construction-style building puzzle game that asks the question: “What if construction cranes were as reliable as arcade cranes?”

A one-button dexterity-style arcade game where you play as a magic flashlight trying to get rid of ghosts while avoiding hitting any humans nearby.

CashOut!- An endless runner fused with push your luck mechanics, where each coin increases your potential score when you reach a bank, but also reduces your jump height.

A mind-bending puzzle game where the player must reflect a laser to activate prisms in each level. The catch? Some elements are in the foreground!

A biology grad student is mysteriously transported to a world full of anthropomorphic crows, observing and interacting with them in order to find a way back home

A first-person adventure stealth game inspired by speculative fiction, abandoned structures, and real-life studies of corvid consciousness

Play as an anthropology student named Aria who has been transported to a strange world created out of the ruins of various time periods
This new world is populated by mysterious creatures evolved from crows and magpies
As you explore, you study the Crowfolk, slowly piecing together their culture, history, and how to navigate their society
Aria will have to use her notes to become more like the Crowfolk in order to survive

CORVIDAE was a long-form directing exercise for USC’s Directing for Video Games class (CTIN 480).
Exercises resulted in a large amount of documentation being made

PERENNIAL (2022)
GAME DESIGNER

A roguelike basebuilder where players explore a post-apocalyptic Chicago to find resources and make new friends.

Developed 3 basic levels which would shuffle into new layouts for players to explore during playthroughs
Wrote dialogue for main character and 3 NPCs in Yarn Spinner
Wrote 5 short stories to assist worldbuilding

Met with students from the Berklee College of Music who assisted in creating music and sound effects
We met once a week to discuss progress, share inspiration, and give feedback
THE PICKFAIR DIRECTIVE (2021)
GAMEMASTER
PLATFORMS: ARG (Discord/Twitter/Twitch/Instagram)
In this multi-month “ARG-like” event, players assist a rogue AI by creating art projects to bring a secret society back to life during and after quarantine.

Alternate Reality Game (ARG)-like developed with fellow students and staff at USC's School of Cinematic Arts
Intended for incoming freshmen, it follows the story of a rogue AI called Elysee Reinhardt and a mysterious organization known as the Pickfair Directive
By solving puzzles and making creative works, players can meet SCA alumni and gain access to special events.

Showcased student projects on Twitch via a “pirate Twitch channel” with a co-host
Gave students a space to discuss their art and how they relate to the world around them
Participated in weekly meetings with the rest of the design team, 3 game designers and 4 other gamemasters
Created puzzles, ciphers, and challenges for players

Helped facilitate a “shootout challenge” by roleplaying as an AI character with players
Constructed rewards for players after they completed a challenge sent by a designer
Hid rewards around SCA campus, taking a picture of its location and sending it to the winner

THE ENEMY OF THE GOOD
A music video made in less than a week by 10 USC students and the work they had made to get into the School of Cinematic Arts.

THE FINAL SPIRITS
A 1950s B-Movie style short film made for an “Ed Wood Film Festival” about an alcoholic screenwriter who imagines his newest horror script coming to life.
FROM THE MOON
A short film without dialogue about inspiration, childhood, and finding comfort in moonlight.
